“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” -Nelson Mandela

Are your fears causing you to lead a less fulfilling life than the one you hoped for?

Do fear and anxiety keep you from dealing with unavoidable situations and emotions?

Fear is defined as a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined.

No one on the planet is immune to fear. In fact, it is human nature to avoid emotions that scare us. When we sense danger or experience something that makes us uncomfortable, our survival mechanism signals our bodies to respond with a fight or flight response. While this defense mechanism is an essential part of keeping us safe, left unchecked it can prevent us from achieving our goals and living a bold and fulfilling life.

To be human means to feel emotions. Unfortunately emotions such as fear, anxiety and worry, coupled with an active imagination can leave you feeling trapped and powerless.
