“The goal is not to do business with everybody who needs what you have. The goal is to do business with people who believe what you believe.”  – Simon Sinek

Think about all the hours you spend at work.

Is your workplace somewhere that inspires and nurtures you?

Does your organization value great work along with a healthy home-life balance?

Have you made true friendships at your work or are your coworker relationships limited to water cooler gossip and complaints?

Company culture is an integral part of business. It is the character and personality of your organization. It’s what makes your business unique and is the culmination of its values, beliefs and attitudes. According to Tony Hsieh, your culture is your brand. It determines the overall spirit of the workplace as a whole.

A corporate culture that aligns with an individual’s personal values leads to a positive, healthy environment.

When we spoke with coach and consultant Adam Piandes, he recommended these 3 key requirements in order to begin to shift or sustain a healthy culture:

  • Need a “buy-in” from the “top-down”,
  • Create trainings and systems that supports people at all levels,
  • Encourage conversations where people connect on a deep level.
