“I believe that curiosity, wonder, and passion are defining qualities of imaginative minds and great teachers; that restlessness and discontent are vital things; that intense experience and suffering instruct us in ways that less intense emotions can never do.” – Kay Redfield Jamison

In these uncertain times, are you living in a self-made prison of your own fears?

Do you find yourself resisting situations that require you to leave your comfort zone?

Although change is inevitable, we often refuse to embrace it out of fear of the unknown.

Fear has the power to keep you from achieving your goals and dreams. It can keep you stagnant and rob you of your ability to take advantage of opportunities.

However, according to Albert Einstein: “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” In order to grow and evolve you need positive change and new ideas.

Webster’s dictionary describes Innovation as the introduction of something new; a new idea, method, or device. Watch my interview with Master Coach Ray East to learn what we need to do to adapt and begin to become more confident with change and innovation. Get ready to learn Ray’s secret to having a business fueled by new ideas, creative thoughts and new imaginations.

As we are faced with unpredictable and uncertain times, it is essential to begin to get comfortable with change and embrace the unknown. Ray recommends starting this journey, by asking yourself different questions. Because your mind is a search engine, and its job is to find an answer, you can shift your state and mindset by asking “wonder” stimulating questions.

“Curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” – Walt Disney

Ray’s Success tip for asking yourself different questions!

Fear question 1- “Why is this happening to me, I did not ask for this?”

Wonder question 1- “What is it that I don’t know?”  “What am I dreading that could be hugely inspirational and motivational?”

Fear question 2- “Why me?”

Wonder question 2- “What is amazing about this?”  or “What can I learn from this situation?”

Take a moment and look at where you may be stopped by fear or resisting a situation and begin to ask yourself a “wonder” question!
